This Friday the worldwide Caliph of Ahmadiyya Islam, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad will deliver a special message from western Europe’s biggest Mosque in Morden to mark the 125th anniversary of the world’s largest organised Muslim community.

The message will be broadcast live via satellite television during the Friday prayers to over 80 million viewers spread across more than 120 countries. Similar messages or peace will be delivered at Mosques across the UK, including Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Huddersfield, Bradford, Hartlepool, and Glasgow.

The Community was established in 1889 in Qadian by the awaited Messiah and nineteenth century Muslim visionary, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad who was charged with reviving Islam’s central teachings of peace and tolerance.

Today Ahmadiyya Islam has grown into the largest organised Muslim group in the world and is led by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the fifth Successor and Caliph to the founder of the Community. It is the only Muslim community operating under the Islamic system of Caliphate.

Under the leadership of Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Community has established itself as one of today’s leading social and humanitarian movements having established hundreds of schools, hospitals and development projects in under-developed parts of the world.
